Using Digital Spaces - Home Space
From Digital Spaces
Setting Home Space
Setting a home space is a simple step that will save you time while working with an environment.
When installing an environment from a package you will be given the option to set it as your home (see below)
If you didn't set it that way you will need to do the following,
1. Go to your Digital Spaces folder in your program files. (Usually located C:\Program Files\Digital Spaces\)
2. Next open the "config" folder
3. In the config folder you will see a file called "options.xml", open that in a text editor now.
4. This file contains the location of the space that is set as Digital Spaces' home space. You will see the following and the location of your current home space in between the "home" tags.
<options> <core> <home></home> </core> </options>
5. Copy in the location and file name (index.space) of the environment you want to be the home space for Digital Spaces.
Save that file and open Digital Spaces.
(If an error occurs, check your path way to the space you selected)
