Installing a Space for Digital Spaces

Installing a space from a package is very simple as its in the form of a installer application.


1. After downloading the installer, double click it to begin installing.

2. The installer will now open, first you will be given the options of bookmarking and setting the space as the home space. Choose then click "Next".

3. Now you will choose where the files for the space will be saved to. By default they will go to "My Documents" into a Digital Spaces folder. Once you have chosen, click "install".

4. Digital Spaces will now begin installing.

5. Once the install have finished, click "close". The space is now installed.

By default most spaces will create a bookmark automatically. Using Digital Spaces - Bookmarking

If the new space hasn't done this, do the following,

Open up DSS and use the GUI menu and select "Load" and "Local".

You will now get a browse window. Search the new space and then hit OK.
