Installing Digital Spaces
From Digital Spaces
Digital Spaces is simple to install, just follow the few steps listed bellow.
1. After you have downloaded the installer, begin the installation by double clicking the icon shown below. This will most likely be found on you desktop.

2. By default, all options shown are selected. If you wish to change any simply click on the check boxes. After you have chosen your options, click "next" to continue. You may uncheck OpenAL and Python, but this could restrict some features of Digital Spaces. OpenAL is Digital Spaces sound management and Python is its scripting language.
3. Digital Spaces by default will install itself to your "programs" folder, if you wish to change it browse to the location you desire. Next, click "Install" to continue, Digital Spaces will now begin installation.
4. Digital Spaces is now installing. You can see exactly whats being installed by clicking "Show Details" (Optional).
5. If you chose to install OpenAL and Python they will do so now.
If you have Python installed already, you will see the following dialog box. If not, Python will automatically install.

6. Digital Spaces is now installed and ready to be used. Click "close" to finish installation.
7. When you run Digital Spaces for the first time you will need to select some option for "Ogre". Ogre is Digital Spaces 3D Engine.
A dialog box will come up with a drop down bar displaying the options.
Digital Spaces works best using the option "Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem". After selecting that you will see the following.
Defaults are recommended. Video Mode/Resolution is up to you.
After your options are selected, click "ok" to start Digital Spaces.
