0.12.0 is a significant change, with the removal of the deprecated 3DScenegraphManager API and the partial rewrite of the SGManager, which now requires unique names across all types of scene graph objects, and involved a slight change to the SGManager API.

Some of the scripts in the available demonstration spaces will fail. Updated copies will be uploaded soon.

A total of 776 employees have been notified that they will be affected by the job cuts, though not all of them will ultimately end up leaving the department, Gary Corbett, president of the labor union, the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC), told the CTV television network in an interview Thursday. The union represents about half of the workers who will lose their jobs.
Environment Canada, a national agency that tracks climate change, protects endangered animals and fights pollution, expects 300 employees to be "surplused," the union leader added.
Corbett is worried about the impact of the job losses.
"These type of announcements cause a lot of havoc in the department and people are certainly wondering what is going to happen now," he said.
Government officials briefed senior union representatives Wednesday on the pending cuts. The union was told Environment Canada will now concentrate on core services like contamination cleanup and enforcement of pollution rules.
Meteorologists, chemists, biologists and other scientists are expected to either be fired or transferred to other positions within the federal public service.
Treasury Board President Tony Clement, who is in charge of reducing the cost of government services, said Thursday that this is a decision by Environment Canada. He promised the government would try to find new jobs for the fired.
"When there are staff reductions, first of all those decisions are not taken lightly, because we are dealing with human beings and families and we know that this is sometimes a challenging time when these decisions are made for those individuals," Clement said at a news conference in Ottawa.
"But we as a government go out of our way to work with each individual to try to see whether through attrition, whether there's another position available in the government of Canada or at least work with them for retraining. I think that's the right thing to do," he said.
Clement said about 11,000 people -- roughly 5 percent of the federal workforce -- quit or retire from the public service every year and he hoped some of the Environment Canada workers could fill these vacancies. The government cannot give a guarantee but would do its best, he said.
But union leaders didn't expect many of the fired workers to find new jobs in the government.
Green Party Leader Elizabeth May said in a statement that her Party is concerned that this latest round of job cuts could affect Environment Canada's ability to deal with complex and changing environmental issues, May said.
Besides, they are "worried that cuts are also impacting other departments," she said.
Her words were echoed by the Liberal Party.
They called the cuts "reckless," saying they "prove that protecting our fragile environment while building a vibrant green economy is not a Conservative priority."
"These massive cuts are deeply alarming and will result in reduced ability to evaluate scientific issues, such as air quality, climate change and water quality, and could potentially lead to less-informed decision-making," Liberal environment critic Kirsty Duncan said in a statement.
Further job losses are possible when the government completes its "strategic review" of operations later this year.

A woman from Japan was telling a friend about her trip to the United States. The woman had visited major businesses and investment companies in New York City and Chicago.
"I studied English before I left home, " she said. "But I still was not sure that people were speaking English."
Her problem is easy to understand. Americans in business are like people who are in business anywhere. They have a language of their own. Some of the words and expressions deal with the special areas of their work. Other expressions are borrowed from different kinds of work such as the theater and movie industry.
One such saying is get your act together.
When things go wrong in a business, an employer may get angry. He may shout, "Stop making mistakes. Get your act together."

Word expert James Rogers says the expression was common by the late nineteen seventies. Mister Rogers says the Manchester Guardian newspaper used it in nineteen seventy-eight. The newspaper said a reform policy required that the British government get its act together.

About two weeks after China's Ministry of National Defense confirmed its program to refurbish an ex-Soviet aircraft carrier, the still unfinished vessel commenced its maiden sea trial on Wednesday morning from Dalian of northeast Liaoning Province where the carrier was docked.
While some neighboring countries have expressed concern over the growth of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, such as Japan's most recent defense white paper, Peter Singer, a senior fellow in foreign policy at the Washington-based Brookings Institution, told Xinhua that he didn't believe the Chinese carrier was a source that could worsen the current situation in the Asia-Pacific region.
"One should not be surprised that China, whose military and economic power has grown immensely over the last decades, would want to join the 'carrier club' along with states like the US, UK, Brazil, India, France," Singer said in an email.
It's an understandable ambition from a strategic and national prestige standpoint for China to develop aircraft carrier, he said.
Currently, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Spain, Italy, India, Brazil and Thailand, operate a total of 21 active-service aircraft carriers.
Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force currently has two 18,000-metric ton Hyuga-class helicopter carriers, although the warships are classified by Japan as "helicopter destroyers."
Once the still-unnamed carrier is delivered to the PLA Navy, China will be the last among the permanent members of the U.N. Security Council to possess an aircraft carrier.
The Asia-Pacific is also an area where aircraft carriers frequently cruise. The nuclear-powered supercarrier USS George Washington has been forward deployed at Japan's Yokosuka, and other U.S. carriers visit the area from time to time for military exercises, deterrence, as well as port calls and humanitarian aids.
"I don't think the carrier itself is a source of tension with the US," Singer said. "I think the greater sources of regional tension remain the behavior and unresolved maritime claims."
According to Singer, such sources include the conduct of the navies in the South China Sea and sea disputes between China and some of its neighboring states.
China signed an agreement with members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2002 at Cambodian capital Phnom Penh, which seeks regional stability by resolving disputes in the South China Sea in a peaceful way.
The agreement, Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, asked all concerned countries to maintain self-restraint and not to conduct activities that would complicate or escalate disputes such as inhabiting the uninhabited islands and reefs.
"Tensions between Japan, the Philippines or Vietnam were there before the carrier," Singer said, noting that China's neighboring countries may look at the carrier with some apprehension, but none should blame the carrier for tensions in the South China Sea.
Chinese military scholars told Xinhua that China's carrier program was for the sake of its own maritime interests.
"China's future aircraft carrier would only add stable factors to the Asia-Pacific region and the world peace," said Cao Weidong, a researcher of the PLA Navy's Academic Research Institute.
"Compared with the U.S. and other carrier-savvy navies, China is just a beginner in operating an aircraft carrier," Cao said.
To fuel its fast growing economy, China is increasingly reliant on natural resources imported through maritime transport routes from overseas.
The PLA Navy has deployed its task forces in rotation since the end of 2008 to the Gulf of Aden and waters off the coast of Somalia to escort Chinese and foreign merchant vessels transiting.

Officials in Washington are openly discussing the possibility of another federal stimulus package to boost the troubled U.S. economy. As VOA's Michael Bowman reports, the discussion comes as leading U.S. economic indicators edge slightly higher.
This year has already seen two aggressive steps by the federal government to prop up the economy.
In February, as the economy was slowing down, Congress passed a $150 billion stimulus package that featured rebate checks for middle- and lower-income taxpayers.
Earlier this month, amid a worsening credit crisis,polo ralph lauren pas cher (http://www.ralphlaurenmagasin.com), President Bush signed a $700 billion financial rescue bill, $250 billion of which is being used to boost capital for troubled American banks.

Testifying on Capitol Hill Monday, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said Congress should consider another stimulus package.

"Any fiscal action inevitably involves trade-offs - not only among current needs and objectives, but also because commitments of resources today can burden future generations and constrain future policy options. That being said, with the economy likely to be weak for several quarters and with some risk of a protracted slowdown, consideration of a fiscal package by the Congress at this juncture seems appropriate."
The central bank chief added that any stimulus should be crafted to boost economic activity in the short term without significantly adding to America's fiscal deficit in the long term.
